An Italian artist born in Spoleto.
He studied at the Academia di San Luca in Rome, where H was much inspired by the works of Francesco Podesti and Bartolomeo Pinelli. He moved to Paris during the Belle Epoque, and exhibited at many Salons where he was continuously successful with his refined works. He is best known for his historical and genre paintings, and some are included in the collections of the Uffizi and Galleria Borghese of Rome. His works can be seen in other important museums in Italy, as well as with collections in America and France.
He died in Paris.
