Webb painted coastal scenes in England Wales, Holland and France, and views on the Rhine in a robust naturalistic style, perhaps influenced by Turner.
He exhibited at the Royal Academy (29), the British Institute (37), the Suffolk Street Galleries (38) and at various other venues.
His works can be found in the Tate Gallery, Victoria and Albert Museum and most of the provincial art galleries in England, Scotland, Wales and Ireland (too numerous to state here).
