A beautiful oil painting of boats in a harbour. Verbaere Herman 1906-1993, one of the greatest Flemish painters of his time. Painted in oil and watercolour, landscapes and cityscapes, studied at the royal academy, graduated 1924, and then the academy of fine art in Ghent. He won many awards. His work was used for illustrations, posters and stamps.
